!!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! is a beater, but I find myself more and more attracted to the Subaru Libero/Sumo 4wd wagons. Same engine as the Justy, so parts shouldnt be too bad to find in the US, 4WD, safari windows, looks like a full length sunroof, seating for 6. Anyone ever drive one of these at speeds approaching 65/70MPH or off road? Be a hell of a platform to just build whatever you want out of it. Dat versatility

So the wheelbase is the sum of the front + rear overhangs?

That's awesome. For a half a second, I thought it was a LiteAce, in which case my question would have been (why did you not already buy this?"

All I know is that when my parents were car shopping in '89 or '90 we sat in one at a Subie dealer, laughed hard, and left. Be aware that the German car has no inspection (probably for a reason) and the ad for the Italian one doens't say anything about that. No inspection means no chance to even register it briefly.

There is a place an hour from me that sells these trucks and will convert them to tracked vehicles. I want one SOOOO bad.

It is just nuts how capable that thing is. Do you know what a conversion runs to tracks on one of those?

It's a very cheap lift and the tracks. Sadly the tracks are like 7-8 grand.

looking into it, it looks like they are actually 3-4 grand for the name brand stuff, half that for the cheaper ones. A good 4x4 truck will run you about 8-10 grand
